Digital Arts Research Center (DARC) 302

Join Founding Director of the Institute of the Arts and Sciences (IAS), John Weber, and members of the IAS Advisory Council on April 25, 4 pm for light refreshments in the IAS Suite, DARC 302

The Institute of the Arts and Sciences at UC Santa Cruz is built on a visionary premise: to create the first dedicated public space within a world-class research university that will harness the combined power of the arts and sciences to explore the critical issues of our time.

See the original design concept renderings submitted by award-winning architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien and learn about the pre-building programming underway, including artist residencies, events, and exhibitions. Faculty from the arts, sciences, and humanities will be on hand to talk about their cross-disciplinary collaborations, which represent the cornerstone of the Institute's programming.
