We invite UC Santa Cruz undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty to join us for a field trip to San Francisco area museums October 27, 2017. Meet others in the university community interested in art, and visit SFMOMA and Yerba Buena, two of the leading institutions of modern and contemporary art in San Francisco. Currently on view at Yerba Buena is Talking to Power / Hablándole al Poder, a survey exhibition of radical, Cuban artist Tania Bruguera’s long-term, socially engaged art projects to date. Bruguera spoke at UC Santa Cruz October 3 as part of Traction: Art Talks.
The bus will leave from the Performing Arts Parking Lot (adjacent to the Digital Arts Research Center) at 11 a.m. on Friday October 27. The bus will leave San Franscico to return to UC Santa Cruz at 7 p.m. that same evening:
The bus trip and museum admission to SFMOMA and Yerba Buena is FREE for UCSC undergraduate and graduate students and accompanying faculty.
