Louise Leong (she/her) is Head of Exhibitions at the Institute of Arts and Sciences. She supervises all aspects of exhibition production and works closely with curators, artists, and many skilled arts professionals including (but not limited to): art handler teams, exhibition designers, fine art shippers, conservators, collections managers and registrars, lighting designers, carpenters, painters, sign makers, and graphic designers.
Prior to joining the IAS, Louise was principal preparator and gallery manager at the UC Santa Cruz Mary Porter Sesnon Art Gallery. She has taught artmaking workshops for community organizations such as Youth Now!, a Watsonville-based after school program, and for the Prison Arts Project in the Santa Cruz County Jail through the William James Association.
