Louise Leong

Louise Leong (she/her) is Head of Exhibitions and Gallery Manager at the Mary Porter Sesnon Gallery. Her role includes exhibitions management, directing the robust student internship program, and supporting all aspects of gallery operations and administrations.

Louise has exhibited her work as an artist internationally, regionally in the San Francisco Bay Area, and locally in Santa Cruz. In 2018 she co-founded the Little Giant Collective printmaking studio in downtown Santa Cruz. As a UCSC Art alum, Louise maintains a close relationship with the Art Department and its faculty, students, and staff. She volunteers as a Print Studio monitor. Louise is also a supporter of UCSC Student Media and student organizations after years of involvement with the campus newspaper, City on a Hill Press.

Louise has worked in the Art Department of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, taught art workshops for Youth Now!, a Watsonville-based after school program, Porter College Creative Commons, and for the Prison Arts Project in the Santa Cruz County Jail.
