While UC Santa Cruz Institute of the Arts and Sciences (IAS) has had to postpone spring exhibitions and arts programming to support efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we firmly believe that communal engagement with art is crucial in these challenging times.

We also know that art is a vital way to remain connected one another, so we are happy to announce Art Without Distance, our new virtual programs in art and culture.

Art Without Distance includes virtual tours of exhibitions, exhibition resources and curriculum, a blog, social media posts (#artwithoutdistance), a newsletter, and other resources. Our team at the IAS is working hard to produce this content, so check back. More exhibitions and resources will be added weekly.

Join us on Instagram (@ucsc_ias), Facebook (@ucscias), and Twitter (@IasUcsc), and sign up for our newsletter by emailing ias@ucsc.edu for inspiring content and updates.
