Currently on view at Yerba Buena is Talking to Power / Hablándole al Poder, a survey exhibition of radical, Cuban artist Tania Bruguera’s long-term, socially engaged art projects to date. Bruguera spoke at UC Santa Cruz October 3 as part of Traction: Art Talks.
The bus will leave from the Performing Arts Parking Lot (adjacent to the Digital Arts Research Center) at 11 a.m. on Friday October 27. The bus will leave San Franscico to return to UC Santa Cruz at 7 p.m. that same evening:
The bus trip and museum admission to SFMOMA and Yerba Buena is FREE for UCSC undergraduate and graduate students and accompanying faculty.
To register for the field trip:
– Email ias@ucsc.edu by October 20 to reserve a space on the bus. Space is limited, so RESERVE EARLY!
– Submit a $10 deposit to ensure your attendance at Digital Arts Research Center (DARC) 204 (Further details about how to make this deposit will given in response to email reservations). THIS MONEY WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU ON THE DAY OF THE FIELD TRIP.
