Mirra-Margarita Ianeva is a PhD student in the History of Art & Visual Culture Department at UC Santa Cruz. Her research explores issues of land, ecology, exile, and displacement in contemporary art. She holds a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Art History from McGill University.
